FAQ

I just made a reservation online and paid online, do I need to do anything else?

Please check your e-mail. You will have received instant confirmation for your transfer to the email address provided. Please check this carefully and let us know immediately if any details are incorrect. It is your responsibility to ensure travel details, flight numbers etc are correct. Please note – It is important to carry with you, our 24hr emergency telephone number when you travel (see terms & conditions). You will find this number clearly displayed on your confirmation email.

I didn’t receive my confirmation e-mail .

Please check your e-mail client and you spam folder, confirmation e-mails often are delivered there due to spam filters. If not there please double check you have typed correctly your e-mail address. In all cases you can always refer to the booking screen (print screen at the last booking step) , displaying all booking details. You can also require an additional e-mail confirmation (for free) by mailing us at support@taxireservations.com .

Is it certain that I will not pay anything else? Have I paid absolutely everything?

Yes -You have paid the full amount for your specified transfer. In the case of amendments or cancellations, relevant charges will apply. In these cases, your credit card will be charged, you will never be asked to pay our drivers cash. Drivers tip is at your own discretion.

Will the driver really wait for me? How will they know it’s me?

Yes, the driver will of course be waiting for you. We monitor all flights. This is why you are asked to enter your flight arrival details. It is important that these are correct. Our driver will be waiting for you at the arrival point bearing a sign with YOUR name clearly displayed. If for any reason you do not locate the driver or the driver cannot locate you (delay at customs, arriving a different exit, etc) we will try to contact you on the telephone number supplied in your booking form. It is your responsibility to contact us on the emergency telephone number as clearly stated on your confirmation e-mail. Please note, failing to do so might result in cancellation service.

What happens if my flight is delayed? (Or my ship, train, etc?)

Do not worry. Regardless of how long the delay will be, your driver and vehicle will be waiting for you. We are in constant contact with the arrival lounges and airplane information points for that reason and we will make everything possible to adjust your vehicle pick up time. However you are strongly advised to confirm your updated travel arrangements.

What happens if the drivers have a strike or an unpredictable event?

There are countries (Greece, Cyprus, Spain, etc) where strikes do occur. If you have booked through www.taxireservations.com or any of our sites, we will work hard to deliver the transfer regardless of strikes or any other unpredictable event. We cannot however, guarantee the type of the vehicle transporting you. In the most unlikely event that service can not be delivered, a full refund will apply.

My flight leaves in few hours, could I book a transfer ?

For most locations and cases we can confirm reservations through our online booking system up to 8 hours before your arrival. (Time differs according to location, see site) If the online reservation system does not allow you to book for shorter time frames please email us at arrivingsoon@taxireservations.com and we try our best to accommodate you.

I would like to be transported to a location that is not displayed as a destination.

Simply e-mail us at support@taxireservations.com with the name and address of your required destination. We will respond to you as soon as possible with a quick booking link, the cost and the payment method.

I do not need a transfer, I would like an excursion program for sight seeing, is that possible?

We do provide excursion programs, please send us an e-mail at support@taxireservations.com and we will advise regarding your sightseeing possibilities.

We have a child with us, is child seat available?

In most destinations yes. If the booking engines gives you the option to tick baby seat then YES. We supply this service at no extra charge. The baby seat will be placed in the vehicle prior to your arrival

We have a lot of luggage with us, is that a problem.

We do not set a limit on the amount of luggage you can carry. You are most welcome to have with you all the luggage we can accommodate in the vehicle trunk. You are however expected to be realistic with regards to this. If required we strongly advice that to “tick bulky luggage” so that we can consider your needs and try to provide the correct vehicle at an adjusted price. Failing to inform us, might result in not being able to accommodate all your luggage so delays for a different/additional vehicle will occur. .

I would like to book my return as well, can I?

Yes of course. You can choose to book your return route online at the same time you book your first journey. In this case you will get a discount! You can also book your return with us at a later date by contacting us and stating you are an existing customer.

Who will be waiting for me at the airport, with what vehicle?

www.taxireservations.com offers services only through professional, licensed, insured, non-smoking drivers that bear all the appropriate locally governed licenses. In all covered locations, we collaborate with accredited taxi or transfer companies that are controlled by governmental bodies. All of the vehicles used are in perfect condition and of course clean and tidy, offering all modern amenities like air-condition etc.
